A story of a fleeting relationship.
Lucky Man
Verse 1.
She was clothed, almost bare,
As I saw her walking down the stairs.
Was the girl that I knew.
She looked sultry, like she’d had a few.
Uplift.
I only met her last night.
I get a feeling it’s right.
Chorus.
I’m a lucky man.
I’m a lucky man.
I’m a lucky man.
Gotta get me some sort of plan.
Verse 2.
She walked through. Dropped my jaw.
She said it could be against the law
Looked me up, turned around.
Felt sure I was about to go down.
Repeat Uplift.
Repeat Chorus.
Bridge.
Air was tense, I did not want to freeze.
Then she said, “Do you want another squeeze?”.
Verse 3.
We walked back up the stairs.
She said, “Gonna go and fix my hair”.
Came back in to my room.
Gave a big smile and then we resumed.
Repeat Uplift.
Repeat Chorus.
