'Lonely' is about a period of time in my life. Not the best, but I learnt a lot from it!
Lonely
Verse 1
When you see me looking far towards the horizon,
Probably I’m thinking of a distant land and sun.
Mind that flows and ebbs away
I’m wishing for another day when I
Realize that I’m not really lonely.

I recall the days when I was sitting on my own,
Waiting for the ominous ring from the telephone.
When it rang it made me jump,
I’d start to sweat, my heart would thump, then I
Realized that I was very lonely.

Then it came to me right out of the blue.
If I want to participate

Not dissimilar to where I was back in my youth.
